Some of you may have read about this in my newsletter already.
(What's that? You say you don't get my newsletter?????? Email me and I can get you on the list. It's the hottest thing going...hee hee.)
Here's the deal: I'll set up shop at Market Street on June 11th and 12th. You meet me there at a pre-arranged time. I devote 15-20 minutes of my undivided attention to your kidlet(s)! They can splash in the fountains, run, eat ICE CREAM from Coldstone (makes for cute pics!), etc.
$25 session fee. You will have about 10 pictures to choose from in your gallery.

Top 10 Things I'd like to accomplish in my life
Saw this challenge at http://bludomain.typepad.com/blus_daily_blog/. It's great to stop and think about the big picture sometimes.
1. Raise a happy, well-adjusted, well-educated child
2. Stay married for life and always strive for happiness together
3. Always have a few good friends nearby (emotionally nearby if not physically)
4. Make a true living with photography, continuing to get better
5. Convince people to adopt homeless dogs and cats rather than buy perfect puppies and kittens.
6. Volunteer, volunteer, volunteer and have my child(ren) with me when I do
7. Be able to afford to live somewhere beautiful
8. Worry less, accept things more
9. Make my parents proud, really proud
10. Stop wanting and needing and start appreciating

For Melinda
Here's what I'm thinking...
I am baby-free the dates of June 7-17th and can come and go at will! Would any of my readers be interested in doing a Summer-Themed mini-session??
We could eat watermelon, run through the sprinkler, blow bubbles, etc for about 20 minutes per shoot?
I would tell you the date, have a sign up list and offer a greatly reduced session fee for you to get a few really cute summer pics up in your house?
If you are interested, post a comment and I'll see what I can do! It would be tons o' fun!

Well said.
I read the following quote today on www.bludomain.typepad.com. I check that blog...hourly. What a fun website even for non-photographers! They have the best heads ups for fun stuff to buy...
Anyway, this goes out to all my clients, past, present and future. I am making a lot of mistakes as I start my business, but I'm so proud of myself for setting out to do what I love. Please be patient with me. Running your own business all by yourself is a BIG DEAL. I'm trying so hard!
"Any business is a process and we have resolved that you are never going to get things right all the time. There are going to be moments when you slip, just as there will be moments when you make real progress. The key is to accept the process. I believe the reason most people fail to reach the finish line is because they confuse a setback with a failure. A setback isn't a dead end: a setback is just a learning curve on the journey to success."
